HUDSON, OH- Maynard Williams, a Little Tykes employee of 4 months, claims to have been scammed by a vending machine in the warehouse break room.

“The fucking thing took my sixty-cents, and I didn’t get my Zagnut,” claimed Williams. The Zagnut was dangling in the vending machine, tempting future buyer’s to a 2-for-1 deal. “I didn’t have any more money on me to purchase another one. Shit, I ain’t got no money, they don’t pay me shit here.” Williams had approached fellow co-workers, who might lend him the amount, to no avail.

“He asked me for sixty-cents, but I told him I didn’t have it,” Sherry Blanchard told us. “I don’t like Maynard very much. He’s kind of quiet, and keeps to himself, he only talks to anybody when he wants something, like last week when his car broke down, and he needed a ride home.”

“It’s bullshit,” stated Maynard. “Every day at 1:30, I take my last break. I look forward to that Zagnut, it keeps me going. That goddamn thing scammed me.” Williams was inconsolable on the subject.

“We keep envelops in our break room for occasions like this,” said Chip Benson, first-shift supervisor, and Williams’ boss. “The employees simply have to fill one out, and leave it. The vending company reimburses anyone who is short-changed, or who doesn’t get their snack or beverage. He needs to fill out one of those envelopes.”

“Sherry told me I had to fill out one of those envelopes, to be reimbursed,” stated Williams. “That’s fucked up. They think giving back my sixty-cents is gonna make me feel better, after all that’s happened? Like I said, I look forward to that Zagnut. I feel I need to be compensated for my hardship, as well. It‘s typical, big company like this, they don‘t give a shit about their employees.”

“I really don’t get it,” Blanchard told us. “He just needs to fill out that damn envelope. He keeps bitching about being scammed. Just fill it out, you whiny baby.”
